Fan of Super 8?
This is a short film I made last year for Straight 8 in London. It’s a great competition, with some interesting entry criteria. Entrants have to make a 3 minute film on one single cartridge of cinefilm, with no editing of post production. You simply shoot your film how you wish for it to be seen, in camera and send off the rushes. If you get selected, the first time you’ll see it will be in an auditorium full of people.
Last year my film (above) was selected for the Soho Rushes Film Festival, it was nerve wrecking as I had no idea how my film had turned out. But it was great fun and I highly recommend entering 2010.

New for 2010, the Ritzy Picturehouse in Brixton has let us take over the cinema. The Ritzy Jukebox gives the audience a chance to select the film they want to see at the cinema on the night. From independent films from local film-makers to art house and mainstream classics, we believe the audience should have the chance to decide what makes it on screen at the Ritzy.
