New for 2010, the Ritzy Picturehouse in Brixton has let us take over the cinema. The Ritzy Jukebox gives the audience a chance to select the film they want to see at the cinema on the night. From independent films from local film-makers to art house and mainstream classics, we believe the audience should have the chance to decide what makes it on screen at the Ritzy.
This summer, audiences are treated to Sly Stallone’s reunion of our favourite 80’s actors in THE EXPENDABLES. Coupled with the A-TEAM reboot, you should get ready for some truly explosive, blockbuster cinema.
To celebrate the release of these films, we’ve shortlisted 3 our favourite action-packed 80’s movies for RITZY JUKEBOX COPS!
BEVERLY HILLS COP (Martin Brest, 1984)
DIE HARD (John McTiernan, 1988)
LETHAL WEAPON (Richard Donner, 1987)
Only one of these films can be screened however and it's up to you to vote for the title you want to watch on 24th August at the Ritzy.
